    The Electrical Project Engineer is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the installation and delivery of electrical building services within construction projects. This role combines technical expertise with both office-based planning and on-site supervision, acting as a key link between the design team, client, and site operations to ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered. The Electrical Project Engineer oversees installation and supports the resolution of technical issues through coordination with relevant teams. They ensure appropriate materials are specified and used by site teams and contractors, and reviews testing and commissioning results as part of the handover process, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

    • Lead project planning end to end, developing programme timelines and coordinating resources, while liaising with other Project Managers and disciplines to ensure electrical works are aligned with overall project delivery.
    • Coordinate on-site activities with subcontractors, providing technical direction by identifying and clearly defining issues requiring resolution.
    • Raise and manage Technical Queries (TQs) with clients, designers, and architects, and oversee the variation process to ensure all changes are properly documented, approved, and implemented in line with project and safety requirements.
    • Maintain accurate project records, including progress reports, design changes, as-built drawings, and O&M manuals.
    • Report on site progress, resource planning, and cost impacts, including tracking and managing variations through to handover.
